Sarah recently moved to the Grand Rapids area after teaching middle school math for 4 years in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. She taught 6-8th grade maths ranging from pre-algebra to Algebra 2. In the summer of 2014, she also taught High School algebra and precalculus during Summer school. Sarah has also worked with preschool aged students at a Montessori school and student taught at the 4th grade level. She has taught Sunday School, tutored fellow students through peer tutoring, worked as a personal family nanny, and taught basic english and hygiene lessons to toddlers in South Africa.

Sarah graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota in December of 2010 with a major in Elementary Education and minor in Mathematics. She is currently working towards her masters in Educational Leadership at Grand Valley State University.

When not with students, Sarah enjoys reading everything and anything she can get her hands on, running, walking her dog, Bella, yoga, being involved with her church, and cooking/baking.
